@odudex @replica892 However, I have never tested scanning with Yahboom or WonderMV. My experience relates to Maix Amigo.

We also prefer Krux with a large screen. Please note that scanning Tinyseed does not work as reliably as scanning QR. It depends heavily on the lighting and background. This is because Tinyseed has no markers and no error correction and, unlike QR, is not optimized for machine readability. Apart from that, the combination of Tinyseed and Krux works very well. Setup and recovery is also very convenient with manual input. Definitely our preferred hardware signer and highly recommended.

Krux makes it really easy to verify your @tinyseed_io marking you should do before punching it.

If you made a mistake stamping your Tinyseed plate when setting up a new wallet, you don't have to throw it away. Continue stamping until before the last word and then use a hardware wallet to calculate a new last word (and therefore a new seed). E.g. Krux and Blockstream Jade

@btcidiot Yes. This is how to do it if funds have already been deposited.

@tinyseed_io Most people will stamp after depositing some bitcoin. In this case, don’t forget to move the bitcoin to the newly generated wallet.

To do this with Krux: Load Mnemonic -> Via Manual Input -> Tinyseed (Bits) With Blockstream Jade: Options -> Temporary Signer -> Continue -> Calculate Other hardware wallets that allow manual input, e.g. by rolling dice, have similar functions
