@reverendmatty Someone did more for #reconciliation than all of Vancouver police have done since the Pickton report came about about how their systemic racism allowed him to keep murdering.

@NianticHelp I had a remote raid kick me out before the catch encounter. The automatic support keeps saying there is no issue and won't refund my pass. How do I get an actual human to answer me

@Yellowhead_ After much guilting and prodding our director in OMAFRA finally held a "discussion" on this for NTRD almost a month late - he decided to deviate from the questions we prepared and linked the "blunt speech" in the report to tolerating far right wing dialogue. 🙄😤🤮

Following the Special Report on "Indigenous Food Sovereignty in Ontario - A Study of Exclusion at OMAFRA” Kaitlin Rizarri has written a Brief about the incredible community-based Indigenous food initiatives that are excluded by provincial policy: yellowheadinstitute.org/2023/04/11/tka…

My blood's boiling & you're about to feel the same way. It's 🇨🇦's international students. Not them, but the diabolical, complex, & unimaginal scheme to fuel 🇨🇦's growth. Here's how 🇨🇦 manufactured an exploitation machine & sold it as social good. <thread> 🧵👇

@Songstress28 I know someone who runs a company that helps mitigate an environmental footprint. He always told me lithium mining is the worst thing he saw and he would never support it

When I set out to do this story I had no idea that lithium mining was so bad. It has a huge carbon footprint, yet it’s marketed to save the world-it was fascinatingly disturbing to learn the truth. Meanwhile, Indigenous Peoples are paying the consequences of extraction companies ripping up their land…as per usual. Go have a watch! youtube.com/watch?v=uLO7Cl…

@RexallDrugstore why do your pharmacists always give me my DIN and tell me to go call around to pharmacies to try to source drugs with shortages? I didn't think I was a pharmacist. I use rexall #1081 - Eramosa, Guelph.

@abbvie can you confirm Canadians can no longer access viberzi? My GI said it could be special ordered but my pharmacy says unavailable and withdrawn.

@michellecyca LoL the funniest part is you think east of the Rockies plows. Also that Montreal is flat because I remember you complaining about their hills on their city rental bikes. Please come visit Guelph as you have promised every year, it's perfect black ice/slushy snow/no plow hills

A reality show where smug Canadians who live in cities east of the Rockies and make fun of Vancouver drivers have to get behind the wheel and navigate our unplowed slush/black ice-laden side streets.

@RexallDrugstore hey is it normal for your pharmacies to tell clients to go source meds themselves? I just got given a DIN and told it was my problem and they just didn't do anything when I asked for a refill last week

In August 2019, my former employer @EmilyCarrU hired Gina Adams, an “Ojibwe-Lakota” artist, as part of a restricted search for Indigenous faculty. Then people started asking questions about her identity— including me. My first feature for @macleans: macleans.ca/longforms/the-…

@nyx200 @ssjs2009 @AngryFabricLady if your mother-in-law was mary greyeyes, then you would be married to my dad. which you're not! and your husband would be cree, not metis. don't steal someone else's family history and pretend to be indigenous. that's incredibly fucked up.

@sproudfoot I was terrified of these because when I was maybe 6 I climbed up a set that wasn't secured to the wall, so it fell over and crushed a bunch of fingernails off my hand!
