India's rate is roughly half the US rate. Absolute numbers are higher in India due to its much larger population.

This diagram doesn’t reflect how caste worked in India. Aside from Brahmins, the others were not coherent groupings. Dalit was a term that coined very recently, and doesn’t form a coherent group.
Kshatriyas, Vaishyas were not coherent groupings at all.
Not only that there was a lot of internal mobility, which is not well studied.
