I gave a man my phone number and he hasn’t texted or called me. A whole me. Now I’m here wondering who he thinks he is. Because I’m not the type to just hand out my number to random men. Most times when they insist, I give it out just to end the conversation, then block them later because truly, what are we even talking about? But this one? This one was different. I needed help with directions, and he came through so calmly and graciously. Just genuine help. I even went back to thank him after I was done. And yes, I had already noticed how fine he was. Let’s not pretend. If I had no manners, I might have just cracked him that very day and got his second name. There was so much tension between us.Electric. So when he asked for my number, I gave it. Willingly. But while I was reciting it, some shameless individual distracted him mid-way. Now I don’t know if he got the full number or not but he didn’t ask me to repeat it, so I assumed we were good. Clearly, we were not. Because why is my phone so quiet? Why am I not being called? Anyway. Let me not overthink it. Maybe he’s shy. Or maybe, he fumbled. If you see this call me please my sweet love 😪
