I thought Lawless got the tag down in time. I’m surprised it wasn’t overturned. Landon Mack did a good job of preventing further damage after he loaded the bases with two outs. Got a ground ball to Manny Marin to strand the runners.

Arizona State scores two runs in the fourth to cut Tennessee’s lead to 4-2. Sun Devils hit back-to-back doubles with one out to score their first run. They scored their second on a two-out RBI single. Reese Chapman made a strong throw to the plate, but it was a bit off target and Stone Lawless couldn’t get the tag down in time.

Aiden Sherrell will be our starting center, but Aiden Sherrell is skilled enough to play the four so there’s gonna be times when they’ll both be on the floor, and I think at all times the plan is to have at least one of those two on the floor, and Noah Williamson can play with either one of them. Noah will kind of move kind of to a four spot. Aiden will play both four and five, which will free up Taylor [Bol Bowen] to play four and three. Probably London [Jemison] will move mainly to the three, which is where he’s more comfortable anyways, which is good because we’re down two guards."

We tried to put in the sets that we’re still learning from when he was here. Give him some familiarity. Friday, he practiced. Normal practice. Looked great. Same Charles that left us -- catch lobs, rim roller, can guard the post well, shot blocker. Kind of familiar with our system. "[Assistant coach] Brian Adams wasn’t here when he was here. [Assistant coach] Chris Fleming wasn’t here when he was here. So he’s getting a little more familiar with those two. Great, great kid. Everybody loves having him here.
