@AlanKinsella4 @Tucan626 @DaveMiller0224 “Nothing to do” besides setting all the standards, hour minimums, guidelines, approval of Part 121 training programs, and now certification of merit-based hiring practices, which creates the entire framework for the airlines hiring process for pilots, that is lol

JUST IN: Baltimore bakery truck struck by a United Airlines plane coming in for a landing at Newark Liberty International Airport in New Jersey. According to local reports, the plane was a United Airlines Boeing 767-400. Senior vice president of Transportation & Logistics at H&S Bakery, Chuck Paterakis, says the driver was headed from Baltimore to New Jersey when he was hit. The driver suffered minor injuries, according to Fox Baltimore. "Our maintenance team is evaluating damage to the aircraft and we will investigate how this occurred," a United spokesperson said.

@CollinRugg Yet another airline mishap under the Trump administration once again. How many times has an air plane or helicopter been involved with some mishap since he's been in office?

@budybet I really like Lilli Tagger. Once she gains more consistency and sharpens her b-game a bit, she’ll be a huge threat. Long levers, single-handed backhand, great serve. I watched her matches in China last year and was blown away.

One player I’ve been hyping since the start of the 2026 season is Tereza Valentová. If you followed her junior career, you know the hype is real. Reaching World No. 4 and winning both Singles and Doubles at Roland Garros in 2024 proved she’s a special talent. 🏆 Her transition to the pro tour was textbook. She didn't rush, built her confidence on the ITF circuit, stacking up titles like: 2024: 2x W15k, 1x W25k, 2x W60k titles. 2025: 2x W60k, 2x W100k titles. The moment she truly won me over was at the Prague Open. Seeing her play live, I was struck by her mental poise. She doesn't care about the outside world, she just plays, and she's a normal girl, not some wannabe celebrity. Her ball-striking is just phenomenal. After reaching the final in Osaka and starting 2026 at No. 60, I boldly predicted a Top 10 finish this year. Admittedly, 2026 has been a bit of a rollercoaster. Tereza has struggled to get past the early rounds of big tournaments, but there’s a very "human" reason behind it. Maturita. For those outside Czechia, these are grueling high school final exams. She even had to skip the Rome Masters to focus on her studies. It’s clear that the lack of practice and the academic stress have taken a toll. We saw it today in the Saint Malo final against Uchijima, after a winning the first set, the energy just wasn't there to close it out and she won only 4 games after and lost her serve game 8 times in a row. I haven't lost hope yet, it probably won't match my bold prediction, but I firmly believe she could still make it closer to the top 20 by the end of the season. She's versatile on every surface and can play against practically anyone. I'm looking forward to seeing her get back in form and dominate tournament after tournament.

@Chxmmy5 Yea they showed a graphic of his serve and FH speeds being down ~6mph. Courier said he pulled-up near the end of the Atmane match apparently, which if he did, I certainly missed it. But yes I agree, aggression would have made it more competitive, but Sinner never gets rattled.

@tki_trader Well I’m not one to ever defend this man, but he was also nursing an injury today. I’m sure he’d played better if he was in better form, but he’s not as good as Sinner. Sinner wouldn’t have been rattled by him turning up the aggression and looking to dictate more.

There’s a gulf of difference between Sinner and Blockx. If Zverev played the same match he did against Blockx, he’d have still lost today.
Tim@tki_trader

@Richierich4real @josemorgado Very easy to say after a performance like this, but he really does. If he plays the same match he did against Blockx, this match goes very differently. Unfortunately, he’s always struggled with nerves in the big moments. But that’s what separates the good from the great.

@TheTennisLetter More mental gymnastics from Zverev. I love Zverev’s game, and he’s got the tools, but he’s soft and delusional. Until he stops overthinking these matches and starts playing his OWN game authoritatively, he will remain 2nd class against these guys.

Zverev says there are two gaps in the level of tennis right now, ‘I think there's a big gap between Sinner & everybody else... & I think there's a big gap between Alcaraz, myself, maybe Novak, & everybody else’ “Do you think there’s a big gap between Sinner and Alcaraz and the rest of the ranking?” Zverev: “Well… I think there's a big gap between Sinner and everybody else right now. It's quite simple. I think there's a big gap between Sinner and everybody else. And I think there's a big gap between Alcaraz, myself, maybe Novak, and everybody else. I think there's two gaps right now. It's difficult to say that there's not a gap between Sinner and everybody else if he hasn't lost a match in how many Masters events? Since Shanghai. He hasn't lost a match in almost 9 months. I think you have to admit that there's a gap between him and everybody else.” (via Madrid Press)

@Chxmmy5 As Robert Downey Jr so eloquently put it, “you never go full-retard.” When he plays Sinner though, he does just that. It leads to guided FH’s that either float wide/long like this, or a ball with more shape and much less angle that Sinner can step into and absolutely crush.

@Chxmmy5 Ofc there’s a gulf of a difference between Sinner and Blockx. The point was he played aggressively and never hesitated, on any ball. However, today, he hesitated and was tentative. Sinner’s anticipation is way too good, you can’t do that with him.

Wow. World #1 Jannik Sinner defeats #3 Alexander Zverev 6-1, 6-2 in 56 MINUTES to win Madrid for the first time. He becomes the first player to EVER win... - 5 Masters 1000 in a row. - The first 4 Masters 1000 of a season.

@shamssthegoat @DDGSarah @CollinRugg @mmalikx7 I’m not wrong. In America, all these groups abide by the Constitution. If not, violations go to court. Regardless of their views, private actions are also completely distinct from “state action,” i.e., govt action, of which the Const/FA bars laws respecting or favoring any faith.

NEW: ‘Muslim City’ in Texas gets legal win after a judge ordered that the state must comply with developers. The East Plano Islamic Community (EPIC), which has now been rebranded to The Meadow, will feature 1,000 homes, a mosque, schools, and more. Texas leaders are worried that project leaders will begin imposing Sharia law. Developers were just awarded a win when a Travis County Judge ordered that Texas state agency, Texas Workforce Commission, must comply with the agreed upon terms with the developer. The Texas Workforce Commission had argued that the project was under investigation. “This development remains under active investigation with our federal partners at the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). We are taking immediate steps to appeal this decision,” the agency said.

@nick_ally1986 Agree with you on the mental-side, but Mensik is in a similar spot as the others. Huge potential, but his FH is still super unreliable and he always seems to have nagging injuries. Haven’t seen quite enough Jodar yet, but from Acapulco—>now, his trajectory is extremely promising.

@shamssthegoat @DDGSarah @CollinRugg @mmalikx7 What’s incorrect? I wasn’t talking about Israel, I was talking about America. Regardless of whether religion informs people’s opinion, the FA religion clause is clear, “Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion,” plus the Free Exercise/Supremacy clause.

@HelleVitesse @DDGSarah @CollinRugg @mmalikx7 Funny how you all fixate on Jews. What about the Mormons? Catholics? Nothing to say on them? My point was they utilize our judicial system, and obey/abide by US statutes and state laws.
