@Tyler_Polumbus For me, its a split. DT + Sanders > Sutton + Waddle Franklin, Mims, Bryant > Fowler, Caldwell, Norwood

I keep running this comp in my head... Sutton, Waddle, Franklin, Mims, and Bryant in '26 feels similar to the SB 50 room of DT, Emmanuel, Fowler, Caldwell, and Norwood… I'll take my guys in 2015 but I think it could be close... Which room are you taking?

@Tyler_Polumbus Seems pretty fair. Franklin took some big steps forward, but still has some glaring issues that he still needs to fix.

Daydreaming about the Waddle/Sutton pairing is a great time for #BroncosCountry to remember that WR1/WR2 has more to do with fantasy football than with football reality. Sutton's our X. Waddle is our Z (and sometimes Y). And the order between them isn't actually very important.

@Ray12466763 @AdamSchefter It's not two 1sts worth of value. 😂 The pick value chart math comes out to the approximately value of the 25th overall pick.

@AdamSchefter Miami turns a star WR into basically two firsts worth of value + extras in a true reset. Broncos go all in for Bo Nix with a true WR1 opposite Sutton. Win-win if Denver contends next year, massive L if they don't. Classic Payton gamble.

Trade is now official, physical has been passed: Dolphins have acquired a 2026 first-round pick (30th overall), a 2026 third-round pick (94th overall) and a 2026 fourth-round pick (130th overall) from the Broncos in exchange for WR Jaylen Waddle and a 2026 fourth-round pick (111th overall).

@Real_omo9ja @AdamSchefter You've really gotta try to be that wrong, lol It's a 1st + one 3rd + a swap of 4th round picks in which the Broncos are actually moving forward in the draft from pick 130 to pick 111.

Dolphins just straight-up robbed the Broncos vault for Jaylen Waddle 😭 A 1st + two 3rds + a 4th in ‘26? That ain’t a trade, that’s a daylight heist with the physical already signed. Broncos really said “here, take our future” while Miami reloads the draft. Who actually won this?

@AdamSchefter That’s a hefty price for Waddle, but remember the Broncos traded up to draft Marvin Mims Jr last year-clearly that didn’t pan out as expected. 🤔

@Big___pres @AdamSchefter The multiple levels on which this is a hilariously bad take are truly inspiring. But I'll stick with just one: Waddle had 1,356 yards in 2022.

Broncos fans celebrating like they won the Super Bowl already 😂 Gave up a top-30 pick + Day 2 capital for one WR who's never cracked 1,200 yards or double digit TDs in a season. Bo Nix still has to prove he can support even one alpha target. This screams 'all-in before we're actually ready' and sets them up to be a wild card ceiling team at best

@skrizPO @CarlDumlerMHH It's crazy that with 4 of the same 5 starters this OL looked pathetic with Russell Wilson behind it. Nix and the OL make each other better.

@CarlDumlerMHH Oh buddy Nix about to be first team all pro and league MVP next season… The line is great. The receivers last year were ok, the running game was ass after Dobbins went down, and Bo carried that team… The line is FANTASTIC though, I’ll give you that

@BolieveInNix And Waddle was coming off of an injury for his 40- fully healthy, you can shave that time down.

I'm not sure there will ever be a better reference for the fact that sacks are a QB stat than the 2023-2025 #Broncos. 80% same OL starters across 3 years. Russell Wilson: 45 sacks taken in 15 games (3.00/game) Bo Nix: 46 sacks taken in 34 games (1.35/game)

@SharpFootball Note that I say regression to the mean- not regression in play. It'd be pretty surprising to see Nix lead the league in pass attempts again in 2026.

@SharpFootball A lot will depend on Denver's run game. If Dobbins stays healthy/Harvey improves/a rookie RB helps round things out/etc and the run game stays reliable, expect notable regression toward the mean on Denver's pass attempts. Something on the order of a 10% drop, from 610 to 550-560
