These groups killed it again at the NSBA State Jazz Festival! Stage Band took 1st Place in the division for 2nd Bands, and CJB again won Class 5A and the overall Sweepstakes Award! 3rd year in a row for both of these groups to be State Champions!!

The NSBA State Marching Contest is this Saturday, October 23rd. The contest begins at 2:30 pm and Westside will be performing at 6:00 pm. We would love to see all kinds of family, friends, supporters, and Westside community members out at our final performance!!

It's Homecoming Week! That means sections compete in rehearsals to earn the opportunity to dress Mr. Krueger, Mr. Schoening, and Mr. Sexton. Today is "Adam Sandler Day". Mr. Krueger dressed by Flutes, Mr. Schoening dressed by Color Guard, and Mr. Sexton dressed by Trumpets.

@Westside66 Don’t forget about all of Lademi’s musical accomplishments as well! She was a 4 year All State Oboe player, an award winning jazz pianist and member of the State Champion Concert Jazz Band, as well as Drum Major of the Marching Band. An absolutely incredible human being!

Pretty sure out of the 90+ members in both bands, pretty sure they could have found enough that would go support the basketball teams as a pep band. #BandParents
