Hmm, it is interesting how this thing works within Solana. Promoting projects via X and skipping other projects might not be the best idea from PR/outside-view point of view. Probably there are better more impartial approaches to this. I can imagine just posting on one project can get a lot of folks a bit... angry :)

Incredible 💁‍♂️🦋. I am honestly speechless. Yes pls try @jtx_trade instead of @PhoenixTrade
nept 🌊@0xNeptun

can someone explain to me what exactly makes @PhoenixTrade so special? i genuinely struggle to understand why a multi-billion dollar company would push an ~$8m OI perp dex this hard even major Solana-native players like @JupiterExchange and @phantom are routing through Hyperliquid builder codes lmao @toly I'm genuinely curious about your thesis here because, from theoutside, it currently just looks like an attempt to pump your bags (pic unrelated) and honestly, if we REALLY had to trade perps on Solana, @jtx_trade by @jito_sol looks like a much stronger product imo

@christinaqi Apart from the usual, visiting any of the outlying islands is fun, the ferry pier area is good, day trip to Shenzhen, Big Buddha (cable car view is good)... and remember don't step on any snakes 🐍🐍

We'll be in Hong Kong this month. Would love recommendations on stuff to do. The last time I visited was almost a decade ago for Forbes 30 Under 30 before it went downhill (we were waiting to board a ferry here, there’s language barriers but we all know Shakira 💃🏻)

@__paleologo I suggest living in Singapore first before commenting how amazing it is. I lived both in SG and HK for multiple years and SG is really hard with all of its restrictions and (somewhat silly) laws. I give you one year before you start complaining and thinking about moving out :) Saying that SG is a great place but rather for a visit than a very long term stay. Both SG and HK are great in the region.

@AgustinLebron3 Is it worth posting about it? :) Isn't this some massive outlier 100 sigmas away from the mean. Some people are pure theoretical beasts.

In 2026, how is it possible to graduate with an applied math bachelor's, masters and PhD (from very good schools), be actively looking for a job in trading, and literally not be able to write a Hello World in Python? Like, I just want to know how it happens.

One year ago today, I made the difficult decision to leave @JaneStreetGroup after almost 22 years. I had spent my entire adult career there and was extraordinarily lucky, unquestionably blessed, to have landed in such an exciting place through almost no foresight or planning of my own. Despite that, I often felt out of place. I didn’t have the background or skill set of many of the people around me, and imposter syndrome quietly weighed on me for years. Leaving was scary - not just because I was walking away from the comfort and support of a superbly run organisation, but because so much of my identity was tied to it. I wasn’t sure what would be there on the other side, and how many of the people I'd met would even respond to my messages any more. Over the past year, I’ve learned a lot. One important lesson is that I’m more valuable than I realised, and, what's more, that others see me that way too. That’s left me deeply grateful for the training, camaraderie, and collaboration that define the Jane Street experience. I wouldn’t be where I am today without it. Another lesson: people are stickier than companies. Invest in individuals, not titles or roles. Skills, curiosity, and character are far better predictors of success (and friendship!) than the letters after someone’s name. Those relationships have enabled new beginnings, especially with @jito_sol and my broader @solana journey. I’ve been honoured by my time here and inspired by the people, who are every bit as capable, curious, and collaborative as any I’ve worked with. I’ve loved tackling a new set of hard problems. I’m as bullish on the future as I’ve ever been, and I’m looking forward to the challenges, the failures, and the successes ahead - together.

"There are these two young fish swimming along and they happen to meet an older fish swimming the other way, who nods at them and says “Morning, boys. How’s the water?” And the two young fish swim on for a bit, and then eventually one of them looks over at the other and goes “What the hell is water?”" - DFW

I absolutely hate it when people take a tragedy and turn it into some BS angle for political talking points. The fire in Hong Kong is an absolute tragedy of epic proportions and there will be a massive investigation into the corruption behind this. Here is what we know 👇 - Construction experts warned in 2024 the site did not meet safety standards - Construction company used cheaper materials that were NOT flame retardant - Residents knew about the problem and filed complaints for safety to the government and these complaints were ignored - Multiple people have been arrested already for this gross misconduct and negligence and I expect several government officials will be held responsible for this mess I wouldn’t be surprised if those found guilt are sentenced to life in prison as a result.

@YoannTurpin1 That's a very good video but @EvgenyGaevoy could still explain ADL better 😅 I do understand though it's not an easy thing to do. Try reading docs on it and good luck with that 😂
