There’s this really bizarre trend amongst immigrants who dislike my tweets where they point out that I’m black and that black people also have high rates of the same misbehavior I’m critiquing immigrants for. 1) Basically nobody alive is more critical of black American culture than I am. 2) If you as an immigrant realize we already have a group of people here who who frequently behave in subpar ways, you shouldn’t be advocating we accept other groups who do as well just because we already have one group doing it. 3) Black Americans are heritage Americans and there’s no argument for restricting immigration from us because ummmm we’ve literally always been here. 4) That you can’t understand all of this on your own just strengthens my argument that you shouldn’t be here.
