Three brothers and their cousin have been jailed for more than 65 years after of a man was brutally stabbed and killed on a Walsall Street. Asad Iftikhar, aged 34, from Bloxwich Road, was jailed for 22 years for murder while his twin brother Hassan Iftikar, aged 34, and also from Bloxwich Road, received an 18 year jail term for murder. They had also been found guilty of possessing a knife. Their younger brother Zain Raja, aged 23, from Bloxwich Road, received an 18 year prison sentence for murder. Cousin Amaan Khan, aged 22, from Harden Road, was told he must serve eight years behind bars after he was sentenced to manslaughter. Mohammed Khan, aged 22, was the victim of a brutal and sustained attack on March 17 last year, on Bloxwich Road, where he was left for dead. He sustained catastrophic injuries and later died in hospital. Yesterday (Thurs) four men responsible for his death were sentenced at Wolverhampton Crown Court after they were all convicted following a trial which took place in February.

A Birmingham man previously convicted of terrorism offences has been sentenced to two years and 10 months after breaching conditions placed upon him as a registered terrorist offender. Mohammed Zahir Khan, from College Road, Alum Rock, made numerous online posts that expressed support for a proscribed organisation, he also had a smartphone and online accounts which were not permitted as part of his conditions following his release from prison in December 2024. Khan was also subject of a Serious Crime Prevention Order that was placed upon him when released from prison. 2 years ago today I sat in a court room for 3 days been cross examined by 5 defence barristers in my first court case that lasted 9 and half weeks and I took all 5 down !!! It’s been one of my longest toughest journeys for justice but I did it 🙌🏻 3 trials later in the space of 18 months 7 men convicted and 125 years justice I secured for that little girl I used to be 🙌🏻 never give up ❤️
