@RockfordTparty Understand local government before commenting. Teachers work for the schools and we have a separate taxing body called the school district. The district sets their wages and they just concluded a very public negotiation for a wage increase.

Stop playing Politics Mayor. You're a Mayor. In your official Capacity as Mayor this is not your job. Stay in your lane. You're completely out of your element. Worry about closing the age gap between Teachers and the middle class in Rockford whose average wage is $35k/yr. Start there.

This is so ridiculously horrible. Our soldiers are losing their lives, hundreds of children have been killed. As we are in the midst of a war of choice, our White House has time to play video games.

This is ludicrous. Stating a sitting Governor and Mayor should be arrested, I mean who has the 30+felonies?!?!

The arc of the moral universe is long, but it bends towards justice. Except it doesn’t bend on its own—it bends because we pull it in the direction of justice. What keeps me hopeful during times like these is being surrounded by people who are doing just that.
