Blue states are clamoring for special taxes on the wealthy (California, Washington, it will spread elsewhere) at the same time as massive amounts of fraud are being uncovered. This really encapsulates the moment we are in - our government is incompetent, corrupt and wants more.

What's happening in Virginia should serve as a warning to the rest of the country. Democrats gained power and the first thing they did was invest all their political capital into disenfranchising the conservative voters of their state. When confronted about AB 2624: - Lied about authoring the bill - Couldn't justify the bill - Acted like they didn't know about the bill This bill will CRIMINALIZE exposing fraud, violates the 1st Amendment, protects NGOs from disclosing taxpayer dollars, and these politicians see no problem with it. The fraud is now exposed and they need new laws to hide it. EXPOSE ALL THE FRAUD.

Mute or block every single clown in 3D printing that told you to not talk about this… said it was fear mongering, said it wouldn’t pass, told you to trust in the system. For those people, government is their religion and their cognitive dissonance is the biggest reason why this is the start of the end of personal/micro-manufacturing. Other states are just days away from formalizing their legislation, and since this started several more states have begun their attacks on 3D printing too.

This is the REAL reason behind the 3D printing bans. The corporations that hold manufacturing contracts, charging $5,644 for a $10 (or less) part, aren’t going to let 3D printing take that from them. Micro-manufacturing in the hands of the average human is disruptive.

A U.S. Marine Corps release on March 23, 2026 detailed how Lance Cpl. Eirick Schule developed a 3D-printed replacement for the MUOS antenna mast in April 2025, cutting costs from $5,644 per unit to about $10 and reducing delivery time from over 7 months to 10 hours, with 107 units produced and an estimated $600,000 saved.
