Hey friends, After deep reflection and consideration, I decided, after two years of service as your affiliate chairwoman, to step away from my chair role. I have put this role ahead of family for a couple of years, but after difficult family events in November and December, I have been called to put family back as my priority. I had already asked Brian Flanagan in September to consider running for chair, as I would not be running again, and he agreed. He will be an excellent leader for the team if elected, and I fully endorse him. I am incredibly proud of the team of amazing humans we put together to bring this affiliate back from a certain and pitiful death; LPEPC will be in great hands moving forward. I am proud of the goals we met and blew past, as well as the relationships and gatherings we built with fellow freedom fighters across Colorado, choosing to focus our attention on the fruits of people's character—their actions, priorities, and "Freedom Scores"—that show the truth of their efforts to bring freedom back to our Colorado community. Unity with such people is the only way to defeat the chaos and division of communists and fascists, or anyone who hates the average family’s or individual’s happiness and success in growing their lives in the way they feel called. First thing @lpco board does at their first regular board meeting, starting 30 minutes late, is try to extend the length of the meeting and make it start late every month. Doesn’t make sense for the officers and directors to start business before they start sundowning. #wisdominaction

Okay, it’s time to defend myself from this absurdity. From my interpretation and others, the ultimate power within the LPCO bylaws to run a candidate or not is given to the delegates at convention. If a candidate drops out, the board has the ability to appoint a vacancy committee. If a candidate drops out before the deadline to appoint a new candidate, there will be no candidate. This screenshot, sent in a private chat discussing 2026 convention strategy, is perfectly within the bylaws. There is no “lie,” there is no “bylaw violation.” Humorously, the fake account @COLibertarians tried to post something similar, even taking the time to waste the presses time by sending screenshots to them. Do not expect a piece to be run, unless the press decides to run something on more libertarian infighting. Ironically, our new chair, who is a good person, ran and won on ending infighting. Unfortunately, we’re seeing a commitment to division from his faction. What should be more concerning to everyone are threatening messages sent out by Kyle Davis and Phil Rein. Please note the timing of these messages and they’re still up on Twitter. Phil and Kyle are very influential people within the latest group to pushback on the Libertarian Party’s Mises Caucus and they’re energized by their win at 2025 LPCO convention. But, they’ve taken their hatred to a new level. Is this the type of discourse acceptable by a group who pushed back on Mises messaging to gain popularity in the LP? Do you truly want these people representing you on a national level?

People keep asking me, if I become a State House Representative, what bills will I run. In a perfect world, I'd repeal laws, not make more. Democrats have over regulated us. It's why small businesses are closing, prices have skyrocketed, and Colorado is no longer one of the best states to live in.
