While these vehicles are great for the trails, using them on public streets isn't just dangerous—it's 𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐠𝐚l under Maryland law. Our priority is keeping our riders, pedestrians, and drivers safe. 𝐑𝐢𝐝𝐞 𝐢𝐧 𝐏𝐮𝐛𝐥𝐢𝐜 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐤𝐬: Riding through community parks or green spaces where motorized vehicles are prohibited. 𝐓𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐚𝐬𝐬 𝐨𝐧 𝐏𝐫𝐢𝐯𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐭𝐲: Riding on private land without written permission from the property owner. 𝐑𝐢𝐝𝐞 𝐨𝐧 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥-𝐎𝐰𝐧𝐞𝐝 𝐅𝐢𝐞𝐥𝐝𝐬: Causing damage to school property is a crime (Damage of $1,000 or more carries up to 3 years in prison) 𝐇͟𝐨͟𝐰͟ 𝐭͟𝐨͟ 𝐑͟𝐢͟𝐝͟𝐞͟ 𝐭͟𝐡͟𝐞͟ 𝐑͟𝐢͟𝐠͟𝐡͟𝐭͟ 𝐖͟𝐚͟𝐲͟ 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐲 𝐎𝐟𝐟-𝐑𝐨𝐚𝐝: Keep your riding to designated off-road vehicle (ORV) trails or private property where you have explicit permission. 𝐃𝐍𝐑 𝐏𝐞𝐫𝐦𝐢𝐭𝐬: If you are using Maryland Department of Natural Resources (DNR) trails, ensure you have a valid ORV Registration Decal ($10/year). 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐥𝐞𝐫 𝐈𝐭: Use a truck or trailer to transport your vehicle to authorized riding areas. Do not ride it to the destination.
