Went to NVIDIA HQ today.
Two interesting observations:
1. Snacks and coffee are not free: you have to pay for them. This would be unusual at Big Tech, but no big deal for devs here. "We use this thing called salary to buy stuff we actually need." Food for thought (literally!)

I often hear my oldest son or my youngest son in my oldest daughter's room after bedtime talking and laughing. Always in her room for some reason, where she receives them like a queen. I could remind them that they need to go to bed, and if it goes on too long I do, but I like hearing them enjoy their own relationship and the intimacy that is only available between siblings who have known each other their whole lives and who I have the privilege of providing a little haven for.
