Many lessons in there for politicians in power today. This guy used to control all internal security forces including police, fire service, immigration. Today he's as ordinary as all of us and crying just because he was asked to step back and allow state agencies to do their work

The Leader Ghana Will Gravitate Toward 2028 (NDC)
Not the loudest voice, but the one people trust.
Not chasing attention, but carrying responsibility naturally.
A leader who has been close enough to power to understand its weight, and wise enough not to abuse it. Someone who has watched, learned, and grown patiently.
He respects the present and what has been built, choosing to strengthen it rather than tear it down. There is humility in that. There is maturity in continuity.
Calm in pressure. Clear in thought. Grounded in purpose. He does not panic in difficult moments, and he does not disappear when it matters most.
He understands governance, but he also understands people, their struggles, their hopes, their expectations.
At a time when many are trying to be seen, he is focused on doing the work.
At a time when things feel uncertain, he offers quiet confidence.
He does not need to force his way forward.
When the time comes, people will naturally turn to him.

This morning, I visited the Accra New Town Experimental School following the collapse of a multi-storey building on the site, and received a detailed briefing on the situation. I was accompanied by the Minister for the Interior, Hon. Muntaka Mohammed-Mubarak, along with officials from the Ghana Armed Forces (48 Engineer Regiment), the Ghana Police Service, the Ghana National Fire Service, the National Ambulance Service, and NADMO.
The response efforts have been commendable. A total of 23 victims were rescued, but sadly, 3 lives were lost. I also acknowledge the local community, which acted as first responders and played a critical role in the early stages of the rescue efforts. Work is ongoing to fully clear the debris, with operations expected to continue over the coming days.
On behalf of His Excellency, President John Dramani Mahama, I expressed condolences to the affected families and commended all emergency services for their swift and coordinated response. We need to go beyond response and address the root causes of such incidents; adherence to building regulations and accountability at all levels are essential to prevent future events.
From the site, we visited victims receiving treatment at the 37 Military Hospital and the Police Hospital, where we were received by the Inspector-General of Police, Christian Tetteh Yohuno. At the University of Ghana Medical Centre (UGMC), we were joined by the Minister for Health, Hon. Kwabena Mintah Akandoh. I assure the victims of Government’s support during this very difficult time.

I read an interesting comment yesterday from a fellow X user and he confirms that he is like many others, very pleased about something’s under the leadership of President John Dramani Mahama and his administration. I was pleased with his very honest analysis- Let me indicate that Rome was not built in one day. Imagine our beloved Ghana, with strong leadership, reasonably motor-able roads as being implemented under the Big Push, reasonably consistent economic growth and good jobs… thank you Sir

This deviant should not have been let loose. I know she’d be caught up in another criminality again so no worries. We will be here for the next tawfiakwa.

This is what we call Good government. On Deputy Minister Hon. Ampem Nyarko’s left is the former chief director under Ken Ofori-Atta, and a few months under Hon. Ato Forson, and to his right is the current chief director of the Ministry of Finance.
The finance ministry brought the two to account for their work as chief directors.

Government remains committed to deepening decentralization, strengthening district assemblies, and ensuring that development reaches communities where people live.
I thank the Krachiwura for his distinguished leadership, and the organizers for a successful celebration. We pray that his legacy of unity, peace, and service will continue to inspire generations to come.

TESTIMONIAL FOR SANAM CONSTRUCTION CO LTD.
—————————————
SANAM CONST is one of the firms awarded Big Push road works.
1. Presently, the quality of work being undertaken by SANAM on the Todome-Toh-Kpalime-Tongor-Dzemeni road in South Dayi absolutely remarkable. The 16km Todome-Toh stretch has never been engineered the way SANAM is presently doing.
2. The evidence of the quality works I see on the ground on monitoring is totally different from what the 4th estate is alleging.
3. SANAM has employed over 50youths in South Dayi alone to work on this project. He came to South Dayi with a workforce consisting of hordes of Engineers, Surveyors, Technicians, Accounts officers, Drivers etc
4. SANAM is delivering the project even ahead of schedule. Certainly what’s happening cannot be the work of a 4 man staff of the company. I suspect a clerical error in the statement of workforce of SANAM Construction firm for his tipper trucks alone are over. 100.
5. In any case, everything must boil down to the legality or otherwise of any public or private action. So the 4th estate must tell exactly which law has been breached & how.
Fotos below show 6months progress of work by Sanam Construction firm in my beloved South Dayi👇

Elder Frank Donkor has remained firm in the face of adversity and lent himself as a source of strength for all who are affected by his sons’ loss. I hope beyond his faith and spiritual fortitude, he also has those he can lean on. May God strengthen those around him so his fortitude can endure through them. Amen 🙏
