@NEprojects @mentalhealth @ToolsThought @MissRnic @TeachFirst We have some great ideas like birthday clubs shared biscuit/fruit/sweet bowls, etc. However, the staff room is often quite empty as teachers tend to stay in their own classrooms at break. Anyone seen any examples of a more active/social staff room environment? #Kindnessmatters

Thinking of the Y6 pupils in our school, a Compliment-a-day scheme wouldn't go down as well as it does in Y2. What then happens in Secondary? What might a kindness discussion look like?

I think there's a huge difference between how this is done between Secondary and Primary though. Primary puts these foundations in place for Secondary to build on. I've not met a kid who didn't understand the concept in Secondary.

@NEprojects After noticing a fair few nasty comments in my first Year 2 class, I set up a 'Compliment of the Day' scheme where children all share a compliment with their partners after lunch. I then randomly pick 5 to share with the class and display my favourite! #KindnessMatters
