Jay of the Day: Sept. 14, 1987 - The Blue Jays set a major league record by hitting 10 home runs in a game against the Orioles, including three from Ernie Whitt. In the midst of the 18–3 drubbing, @CalRipkenJr had his consecutive innings played streak stopped at 8,243.

Sept. 13, 2002 - A 3-run homer from Eric Hinske off Drew Brazelton in the bottom of the 6th was the difference maker as the Jays beat @RaysBaseball 5-2.

Sept. 13, 1999 - @VernonWells10 hit his first career home run, a solo shot off Orlando Hernandez in the bottom of the 6th inning, and it proved to be the game winner as the Jays beat the @Yankees 2-1.

Sept. 13, 1983 - A 3-run home run by Jorge Orta off Bob Stoddard in the top of the 3rd capped a 5-run inning as the Jays beat the @Mariners 6-4.

Sept. 12, 2022 - Down by a run with 2 outs in the bottom of the 8th, Bo Bichette hit a 2-run homer off Jason Adam to take the lead in a 3-2 win over Tampa.

Sept. 12, 2021 - @yunitogurriel hits a grand slam off @ZacLowther in the first inning, his fourth grand slam of the season, a franchise record for the Blue Jays. @TeoscarH also hit a grand slam in the same game off @spnsrwtkns, and the Jays beat the Orioles 22-7.

Sept. 12, 2017 - Richard Urena hit a walk-off single off @zbritton in the bottom of the 9th to score @DarwinBarney1 for the winning run as the Jays beat the Orioles 3-2.

Sept. 12, 2016 - Ezequiel Carrera hit a solo home run off Brad Boxberger in the bottom of the 8th inning to put the Jays ahead, and @RobertoOsuna1 stepped in to close the door as the Jays beat the Rays 3-2.

Sept. 12, 2010 - Adam Lind hit a walk-off 2-run home run off Rafael Soriano in the bottom of the 9th inning for the 5-4 comeback win over @RaysBaseball.
