Some #protips to regain control in <1 min next time you’re on the verge 📍Name the emotion — talk it out, eyes closed. ‘I am feeling…’ kicks in the frontal lobe. Thank you, evolution! 📍#SelfAwareness — that overwhelming catecholamine surge can be brief, but only if you recognize it! Its peak action 6s, half-life 2 mins — that’s it! Just a few deep breaths (eyes closed, inhale for 4s, exhale for 6s) will allow your neocortex to do its thing! 📍👆can be the difference between you reaching your destination vs police escorting you off the ✈️ 😬
