@stehoare What I would say is that in a World Cup year, we could have bashed him to reserves until he either found a club or signed extension. Clubs could also play hardball.

This, in theory is correct, but you can’t make a player sign an extension and you can’t sell a player who doesn’t want to be sold. Players hold the power.

@_samantha8 Why you stay for a couple of days with them all? You'll probably find you will enjoy yourself, can always book a early flight and go early if your not enjoying yourself

I think I'd be just worrying if they're having a nice time, instead of it all being about me. I've only met most of them once....they're not really friends.

Have to be honest what were Hughes and Edwards thinking when they decided to pay €35 million for Mamardashvili??? He is up there with Frimpong as the worst signings last Summer. He is like a keeper from the 80s before they changed the back pass rule. Selling Kelleher and replacing him with Mamardashvili was a shambles by the recruitment team. If we can get our money back for him I drive him there myself 😂
