@Artemisfornow It is petty and if that’s what our identity relies on we are in deep trouble… particularly as the name comes from a French word which comes from Portuguese where marmalade originally came from..

The changes are small at first, almost petty but they eat away at British tradition and culture but by bit.
Starmer’s EU reset means we can no longer simply call it “marmalade,” because the EU uses the same word for some of their jams. The U.K. must now comply and label it as “citrus marmalade.”
All this, even though Britain consumes the most per capita and is credited with inventing the traditional orange recipe.
