FLASH🚨🚨: Ogun State is on the verge of a significant power supply upgrade as the Federal Government rolls out a major substation project in Abeokuta aimed at transforming power supply across the state. The new Abeokuta substation will add 480MW to the national grid. This addition will significantly improve electricity supply for homes, industries, and businesses across Ogun State. The project will upgrade existing capacity from 132kV to 330kV, strengthening transmission efficiency and reliability. The new facility is being built in Toolu, Abeokuta, to complement existing infrastructure and improve power supply across economic zones in Ogun State. The project is already in an advanced stage of construction, with civil works expected to be completed in July, followed by installation. Commissioning has been set for December 2026. This upgrade is part of a broader Presidential Power Initiative contract with Siemens Energy to upgrade five key substations in: •Abeokuta •Ayede (Oyo) •Offa (Kwara) •Onitsha (Anambra) •Sokoto So far, this initiative has added over 1,000MW to the grid, with 7 mobile substations installed. 10 transformers have also been deployed. Driven under the administration of President Bola Tinubu @officialABAT, and executed by the FGN Power Company in partnership with Siemens Energy, the project places Ogun at the forefront of Nigeria’s power infrastructure upgrades.

Watch the Footage of Nnamdi Azikiwe, President of the First Republic of Nigeria, leaving Lagos Airport for medical treatment in the United Kingdom on Saturday, October 16, 1965, as he departed for London, where he was to undergo treatment, while the Nigerian Parliament did not sit that day because all Federal Ministers and Members of Parliament were asked to be at the airport to bid farewell to the President.

Zik stayed abroad from October 1965 to February 1966. All the evidence points to the fact that he knew about the January 15, 1966 coup before his departure. While other leaders remained at their posts to face the bullets, the "Zik of Africa" made sure he was safely out of 🇳🇬

@uchechukwunna12 @RisingAngel619 @OOlailu @TheFavoredWoman @SirHenry_ Braindead liar, Gowon launched Nigeria's attack from the North because of Yorùbás' neutrality at the start of the war. Stop being so stupid. Read. Don't just lap up the lies fed you. Ask Google.

@RisingAngel619 @OOlailu @TheFavoredWoman @SirHenry_ Yorùbás have never betrayed you or Nigeria. You on the other hand betrayed Nigeria with the 1st coup and killing of others' leaders. You sabotaged Nigeria's best path to a great country by destroying the federal structure. The North is yet to forgive you so no Ibo president yet.

It's the responsibility of the entire Yorùbá nation. If leaders in politics, biz etc keep rewarding and fraternizing with the very people denigrating our women, it's self-defeating. I've teared up watching how bravely gracefully eloquently concertedly our women took on the fight.
Azteccc@AztecccZ

Until Yoruba women start confronting these people aggressively--ending friendships, business relations, getting people fired, etc,-- they will not create the detterence to stop it! Nobody respects weakness, and you can be strong with an aura of grace. You can crush with finnese.
