@samuel_leeds And this would take fucking years to finish. What about the cost to include facilities for the campers? That costs cash. What’s that saying….the devils in the detail…
This is how I’m buying 27 glamping pods for £0.
I recently bought a countryside hotel that came with extra land included.
That land already has planning permission for 27 glamping pods.
The problem? The pods I want cost tens of thousands each.
So instead of sinking loads of cash in upfront, we’re proving the concept first.
We’ve opened the land up for campers with tents and campervans.
Then we’ll use the money from that to buy the first glamping pod.
Then the extra revenue from that pod helps fund the next.
Then the next.
And the next.
Slowly snowballing cash flow to build all 27 without overdeploying capital before the model is proven.

Lukas Mason to put in an 80 minute stint on your debut in the back row is unreal! Effort was immense.
I’m proud of all those wigan boys tonight the future is bright.
@tom219625@Realkeithmason Looks like you're on the wrong track here mate. Nsemda, Eckersley, Farrimond, Hodkinson all play next week. Hill moved on. All come through recently. I'm confident several of last night's team will be regulars in the next couple of years.
@tom219625@Realkeithmason Can't let that go without asking you for examples, past and present, of "Wigan don't seem to have the same fire power kids as they used too".
Two sides to every story. Wigan entitled to prepare for Wembley however the hell they want. I understand the Salford comparisons too. But atmosphere at Craven Park is dead, and this quite simply isn't a good look for Super League nine days out from a cup final.
@JayW132@UKLabour so sick to the back teeth of the government waste and corruption. Labour seem to think taxpayers are an endless source of funds to squander and waste 😡
HS2. A masterclass in how Britain destroys money.
The cost:
• 2011: £32.7bn
• 2013: £45bn
• 2015: £55.7bn
• 2019: up to £88bn
• 2020: up to £106bn
• 2026: up to £102.7bn… for a fraction of the original route
What’s been cut along the way:
• 2021: Eastern leg to Leeds: SCRAPPED
• 2022: Golborne link to Scotland: SCRAPPED
• 2023: Birmingham → Manchester leg: SCRAPPED
• 2023: Crewe hub: SCRAPPED
• Euston terminus: paused, downsized from 10 platforms to 6, now needs private finance
Original plan: 11 cities, 340 miles, £32bn, open 2026.
What we’re getting: 4 stations, 140 miles, £100bn+, open 2039.
A national embarrassment, paid for by taxpayers.
Come on @Tesco!!! You buy a steak for £11 for a special occasion, looks lovely until you turn it over and realise half of it is fat and sinew. No time to return it so have to pretty much cut it in half to make it edible. Finest my ass!! Do better and stop tricking customers!!
Hey @premierinn I’m all for supply and demand but charging this for 2 nights in a hotel I’ve previously paid £45 a night for is actual insanity and absolutely disgusting!!
@NickBuckleyMBE He's painted all the buses yellow though, he deserves a pat on the back and round of applause.
I've always dreamed we would have yellow buses
Andy has spent a decade taking the credit for all good news in Greater Manchester, and blaming others for the bad news.
He has achieved nothing. NOTHING.
He promised to eradicate rough sleeping in 3 years - huge fail.
He gave us yellow buses and cheaper tickets - tickets subsidised by central government for 3 years, then what? Council tax has increased to contribute to this scheme. Plus, now the buses are political, we are seeing lots of strikes.
He has ignored the grooming gangs and created a cover up report.
The police went into special measures under his watch for ignoring 130k crimes.
But his PR team are top notch and that’s what really matters when you are dealing with a nation of fools.
@suzl84@premierinn Had the same with a @TravelodgeUK hotel close to Wembley Stadium. £650 for 2 nights for an event weekend. £290 for a non-event weekend. It’s nothing more than a rip off.
@Craig8880888@SteveSalterPGA@Tesco This is 100% not accurate, it might be same supplier, but no way is it the same meat
M&s have excellent quality, yeah it's quite expensive but never once had a issue
@SteveSalterPGA@Tesco I was friends with a m&s lorry driver and he told me the same meat distributors for m&S are the same who supply aldi. This was s few years ago mind
@MENnewsdesk when you work at Sainsbury's for 5 years, then they send you parking charges from 2023 totalling £580. Then refuse to help you outright refuse to help, absolutely disgusting treatment. Now I'm stuck arguing with bailiffs over whether I was employed or not at the time
@sainsburys hello. I used to work for you. Its been about 2 years now since I left. I have received multiple unpaid parking charges today in the post. To the total of £580 threatening to take me to court? Can this be sorted please
