Open world concept for EA Sports College Football 27 - UCLA Campus Would be sick to attend team meetings @EASPORTSCollege @UCLAFootball

What if there were a couple times a game where your equipment did something like this?

If Rafaela’s in the business of showing up Trevor Story, he might want to build a résumé first.

This is fantastic. Sign me up!

Must listen from Jonathan Lucroy on how slimy David Stearns really is. Wow.

Alex Cora was merely a scapegoat for Boston’s major roster construction problems roundtable.io/sports/mlb/red…

Texas Tech QB Brendan Sorsby, who is under NCAA investigation for making bets via a gambling app, has retained the noted lawyer Jeffrey Kessler to try to regain his college eligibility, sources tell me and @PeteThamel. If Sorsby and Kessler are unsuccessful in finding a path to eligibility, declaring for the NFL’s supplemental draft then would become an option. Sorsby would have until June 30 to declare for the supplemental draft.

The Red Sox offense stinks, but the guys who most of us targeted this past offseason (or we wished were still here) — Isaac Parades, Alex Bregman, Rafael Devers and Pete Alonso — are hitting a combined .231 with a .677 OPS to start the year. Screwed no matter what.

Was at Fenway last night where I met @Jared_Carrabis, whose career the @RedSox should model their turnaround after. They don’t need better algorithms; they need his blueprint: consistency, obsession, and no shortcuts. Carrabis didn’t come up through a polished media pipeline. He built it from scratch: SoxSpace, daily blogs, tweeting through meaningless August games, showing up long before anyone was paying attention. No shortcuts or system boosting him ... just years of grind. Meanwhile, this version of the Sox feels like it’s chasing shortcuts: over-optimizing, overthinking, trying to engineer wins instead of earning them. Craig Breslow can run all the models they want, but there isn’t an equation for urgency, identity, or edge. You can’t spreadsheet your way back to October baseball at Fenway. And ownership (John Henry, Tom Werner, @FenwaySportsMgt) can’t keep treating this like a portfolio play. At some point, you just have to pick a direction and go. No hedging, no half-measures. Commit. Invest. Build something people can believe in again. There’s no shortcut; just the work. @John_W_Henry @BarstoolSports @ChrisCotillo @bigjimmurray @TonyMassarotti #RedSox #FenwayPark #DirtyWater #SoxTwitter #MLBTwitter #BaseballTalk

Defensive Runs Saved Leaders - Center Fielder

Craig Breslow is single handily destroying one of the most notable brands in professional sports. Amazing to watch. He is turning the development and coaching into a circus act. The Red Sox players have to feel like they're on a different planet. Expecting MLB players to listen to young coaches with limited track records is insanity. Why is John Henry allowing his organization to be destroyed?

One of the interesting theories about the struggling Red Sox offense in rival front offices is that Boston has been impacted significantly by the enforcement of the coaching boxes. The Red Sox were regarded by some other teams as being extraordinary at ascertaining grips/relaying pitch types to hitters -- and that advantage is now gone.
