'I FELT SICK - I THREW AWAY THE GRAND NATIONAL'
Ben Jones has opened up on his ride on Jordans at Aintree.
He told @Ladbrokes: "Driving home, I was sick in the stomach all the way. There was no other feeling. All I was thinking was that was my chance and I threw it away."

@brownowl1001 @racingblogger I think the Melling might be a tad sharp. He ran a cracker in a strong bowl last year
English

@racingblogger Like them to give the Melling a go with grey dawning, pop him out in front and let him use his jumping

🚨 A few updates on some key horses ahead of Aintree and Punchestown:
Lulamba: Likely heads to Aintree for the Manifesto Chase over 2m4f on Thursday.
Jango Baie: Could head to the Bowl over 3m1f on Thursday as long as he's recovered from the Gold Cup.
Jonbon: Had tough races at Ascot and Cheltenham. It will be a waiting game with him.
The New Lion: Heads to the Grade 1 Aintree Hurdle over 2m4f after his Champion Hurdle 3rd.
Old Park Star: Done for the year. Set to go Novice Chasing next season.
Kabral Du Mathan: Done for the season.
Grey Dawning: Will run in either the Bowl or Melling Chase over 2m4f for Skelton.
Maestro Conti: Heads to Aintree for tbe 4YO Grade 1 Juvenile Hurdle.
Inothewayurthinkin: Heads to Punchestown for the Gold Cup
Saratoga: Heads to Punchestown for a crack at a Grade 1.
Fact To File: Punchestown or Aintree, undecided which race yet.
Spillane's Tower: Potential Grand National runner for Jp McManus.
😍 It's going to be an exciting end of season to the jumps calendar boys...

@racingblogger Jonbon really should run in the celebration chase and then that will do. What a horse he has been. Clearly not his best at Cheltenham and owes owners, trainers and public nothing. Retire the horse
English

@daveduke197412 @NdeBoinville @PTownend I agree although the concern is always that he could become another Bravemansgame and leave his race in a gold cup at the age of 7
English

@NdeBoinville @PTownend He will improve with another summer on his back. Next year 👍
English

A great run from Jango Baie to finish second in the Gold Cup. Well done to @PTownend and the Gaelic Warrior team 👏

I'll leave it there ......

@DarranPearce Amazing horse, cannot believe he didn’t get his head up yet again
English

As much as I was on the right side for him to go so close again is an incredible achievement and he does deserve to win it one day

@DarranPearce Think you may well be right. Did really struggle to have an opinion in the race, will have to have one last look in the morning
English

@tom_culshaw Cheers Tom. Just wonder if he might find things happening a bit too quick if the ground stays pretty good
