All this time, I’ve been looking for the PERFECT startup idea. There is none. Today, I’m starting fresh. Day 15 building a 3D spreadsheet. Decided to rewrite the core evaluation engine for better optimizations. Current implementation: 1. sorts the cells topologically 2. evalutates sorted cells one by one 3. writes values into a shared history New implementation: 1. start from a single cell 2. incrementally build the deps. graph 3. rebuild only the subgraph of the updated cell and its dependencies Let’s get this rolling!
