@bunburyoudoujp Another thing is, a lot of these people already deal with this kind of issue back home and they think moving to Japan will magically heal them. Then they find out it can be difficult and lonelier moving to a country with a different lifestyle and a language you don’t speak.

This is going to sound harsh but I am saying this with the best of intentions.
If you talk like this literally no one will want to associate with you. People have their own shit to deal with and don't need someone like this bringing them down.
If you want to improve your life you need to just do things instead of complaining about how hard life is.
I get up every day and run. It would be easier to stay in bed and not run, but by the time most people wake up I've got a 10K in. On most days I do some other training later on in the day as well, be it weights or martial arts.
I don't always want to do this stuff. Running is exhausting and training hurts. But I do it regardless of how I feel.
Do that for enough days and your whole attitude to life changes.
Once you stop paying lip service to endurance and actually start grinding you will realize that life is not a miserable experience.
I hope you are able to get out of this rut. It's time to start finding challenges you can accomplish and stacking wins rather than considering yourself to be in a "poor situation" you need to "endure."

🇩🇪 A court in Germany has ordered a migrant who killed a police officer to be placed in a psychiatric clinic, ruling that he acted out of fear for his life when he shot the officer.
The court in Saarbrücken ruled that the 19-year-old Turkish national, Ahmet G., was not guilty of murder but of aggravated robbery, and ordered compulsory psychiatric treatment.
According to the ruling, after robbing a gas station, he took a police officer’s weapon and shot Commissioner Simon Bohr 6 times, believing the officer posed a threat to his life due to his schizophrenia.
The officer died at the scene from his severe injuries.
Prosecutors had sought a murder conviction and a 13-year prison sentence, but the court considered his mental illness a mitigating factor and opted for treatment instead of prison.
