@am3rica1st43v3r Yeah, I'm retired, but my wife still works. We file married filing jointly. I'm paying taxes on my Social Security income that I already paid taxes on. Total ripoff. I think this may possibly end starting in 2027 thanks to President Trump.

I get my Social Security deposit on the 4th Wednesday of every month. I checked my account this morning and since I turn 65 this month, they deducted $203 for Medicare. So my question is this: Why is the government charging me for something that I already spent my whole adult life paying for? What a scam. 🤬
