The polling shows that the vast majority of LGB people support trans rights and the group that supports them most are gay and bisexual women. People who try and claim the majority of gay people are against trans rights are lying about our community.

It's perfectly reasonable for a group that fought for its rights to want to maintain their original aim i.e. rights of same-sex attracted ppl

I understand why gay people are trying to throw trans people under the bus because they think it’ll help them with being accepted. I think it’s a shitty thing to do, but I see their fucked up rationale for it. What absolutely fucking baffles me is how they think they can erase trans history and everybody’s just gonna be like “OK you’re right, fuck them.” What is that shit?

LOL. The TQ+ didn't win us our rights, decades of activism by gay men and lesbians with help from straight allies did. Every major gay rights legal victory was won by the LG.
