Looking forward to the @MeSHConsortium symposium at spectacular Vic Falls on using routine data to address inequalities that drive the HIV epidemic. What a treat to be welcomed by a herd of warthogs. Huge thanks to the amazing Kat Granger for her impeccable organisation.

Queer data from @census2021 just dropped: ➡️ 3.2% identify as LGB+ 🏳️‍🌈 ➡️ 0.5% are trans or non binary 🏳️‍⚧️ But there are missing data - 7.5% did not respond to sexual orientation question, meaning just 89.4% identified as heterosexual. As a queer statto, some early reflections ⬇️

Made it to to the end in 1:02, which I’ll absolutely take in the circumstances. Mainly really glad it all went ahead without a hitch after the last few years of disruption

The Ugandan Minister of Health & head of Ebola response are asking for help with the Sudan virus outbreak. And that help needs to come fast. When Ebola outbreaks aren’t contained early, they can become devastating epidemics. Countries with resources to offer must step up. Now.
