I’ve meet some local ballroom dolls, but it’s not a culture I’m all that connected to.

Cis people learn about the trans community from transphobic cis people because we’re not given a platform. If we do get to speak, our experiences will be invalidated and we’re portrayed as unreasonable. Transphobic language is so normalised that even “allies” use it.
