@Inselaffe76 Might shit yourself other than that probably fine. Shoes, try getting an expensive pair of running socks designed for wet weather. They're a great buy anyway and far cheaper than new shoes. 15 quid for a pair that will repel most water coming in and let water out too👍

Also, I’ve developed a habit of getting a strong black coffee from the likes of Starbucks/Costa/Hortons after a run. Is this likely to lead to a heart attack, or am I just pretty unfit still?

Runners; am I best getting a pair of running shoes for the wet weather? Any you’d recommend? It’s NB680s I have just now but they are pretty standard issue so let a lot of water in and I’m keen to avoid getting trenchfoot over the winter.
