@RalphMcLeanShow By far my favourite Van album. Love the use of Jazz musicians on this. Went down a bit of a rabbit hole and didn't realise Moondance was also originally recorded with jazz musicians too and it was released for RSD in 2014. Ordered that now!

@MickPuck Astral Weeks is such a phenomenal album Mike. It brings back memories of my childhood in Ireland which considering I didn’t hear it until I was a teenager living in England and it was made by American jazz musicians and a lad from East Belfast highlights the power of music. ❤️

#ChurchOfRockAndRoll #54 Van Morrison wrote & sang the songs on Astral Weeks, and is usually the only name credited with its creation. But the album's producer + musicians played a massive part. The album couldn't have been what it is without them #AstralWeeks #VanMorrison
