Everyone sleeping on the fact that Finn Jones is already confirmed for Born Again Season 3.
The comics did this exact story. Danny Rand put on the suit to protect Hell's Kitchen while Matt was incarcerated and keep the symbol alive.
Marvel wouldn't confirm Iron Fist for Season 3 without a reason. This might be it.
