@threepointone codex, slop-code me a github clone, but make it usable for agents and humans and put durable objects everywhere. definitely use a lot of durable objects. make no mistakes.

didn't expect to get here, but 5.5 is just better than 4.7 now for me. faster, smarter, and doesn't try to do too much. I don't need xhigh or whatever, I prefer the shorter hops and letting me participate.

I would love to see Jetbrains reinvent themselves. Two caveats: The classic IDE is not he best environment to work with if you are using models for more than fancy auto-complete. If I could run a model locally on realistic/modest hardware that matches Codex 5.4 (one month behind as of now) I am in.

Would you be interested if JetBrains releases a totally local AI agent, working 100% on your laptop, using our code insight engine and deeply integrated into the IDE? Yes, it will be probably 1 month behind the very recent frontier models, but no token blood bath anymore WDYT?

Wenn man bei unserer Schiebetür zu schräg ankommt, dann sieht dich der Sensor nicht. Einen Schritt zurück und wieder nach vor wäre die Lösung. Täglich stehen da Menschen, schauen in alle Richtungen und schaffen es nicht. Die dürfen alle Autofahren. Unglaublich.

Related: We're taught in the US that human body temperature is 98.6°F, with a fever being 100.4°F. But actually it's 37°C and 38°C -- not so exact. Americans constantly wonder if 99.0°F is a fever, but I bet nobody elsewhere in the world thinks 37.2°C is...

Pet peeve: When a temperature is quoted as 68°F. Yeah I bet the original source was "about 20°C" but now you went and added a significant figure making it sound exact. You should say "about 70°F".

some of these companies won't survive post AI world, but saying software is dead, saas is dead, or similar is just wishful thinking about a cyberpunk world where anthropic and openai own the application layer, the pie is too big for just two players unless they create AGI ofc
