@sky_tails Thank you for watching! I designed Miyabi's movements by referencing the Coloso tutorial videos and the official ZZZ Miyabi movie.

@tooldol how do you got idea of those movement on miyabi ?

雅が斬る舞台裏 実は大嘘ついてカメラに腕を伸ばして刀を大きく見せてます。リギングが丁寧にされているからこそ、腕を伸ばすだけで済んでるかも。 物体を斬る場面は斬る前と斬られたものを用意して、斬った瞬間1フレで差し替えて、断面はマテリアルで断面部分だけ割り当てて光らせて見せてます。

あけましておめでとうございます。 今年も継続してアニメーションを作っていきたいですね。 より良いアニメーションをお見せできるように色んな技術を取り入れたい年にしたいです。 今年もよろしくお願いします。

@tooldol How do you achieve something like this for instance? Do you use the model itself for the smears, or is it a separate part? Thanks for all the amazing tips you give as well <3

@Adwalo_ Does this make sense? The split cubes are hidden underground, and I switch them the instant they get cut. I prepare one for each cut.

@tooldol Hmmmm I see, do you have any way of showing the viewport on how you manage to switch them?

@Adwalo_ Thank you for watching! The cube is created by switching between the pre-split and split cubes in a single frame to make it appear as if it's been cut. This is done using a slightly tedious method that avoids modifiers or add-ons entirely.
