I truly think the process and experience of code reviews are way overdue for reinvention. One thing we are doing at @HeyGen is using automated 1-min explainer videos as part of PR description. (an example below for a small PR) surprisingly engaging and valuable: esp. for large code changes, architectural proposals, incident reviews, etc.—no one wants to review a 5k-line PR (yes, they’re much more common nowadays because @claudeai is so good). our incident review meetings also became 10x more engaging than reading a google doc together for 30 mins. code review is such an integral part of engineering communication and alignment; the explainer video helps kick off that conversation. But seriously, some startup should reinvent the code review UX (maybe @graphite ?)

One question I've been asking founders is: do you try to review all the code that the LLMs write or do you just accept it? I think it's about 50-50 right now but the momentum is towards just accepting the AI-generated code and I think that number will eventually go to 100% This is one of the most telling indications of how AI-native a team is. It's hard to get super high throughput if you are reviewing every line Poll: what do you do?

Here's my favorite style: Josef Müller-Brockmann Swiss International Style. Grid-locked layouts with mathematical precision. Black and white base with ONE accent color (electric blue #0066FF). Strong diagonal compositions. Helvetica typography only. Data visualizations are the hero — animated charts, counters, grids. Every frame snaps to a grid. Transitions are horizontal grid wipes. No organic shapes. No gradients. No stock photography. Everything is geometric, systematic, precise.
