@WWalks @VestryHouse @KarenAverby @WalthamstowHist Hi Joanna, I grew up with a coal hole by our front step. The Coalman used to shoot sacks of coal down it into our cellar. It took days to clean the path and step from all the coal dust. I used to love the smell of it.

Until yesterday I had never seen a #coalhole cover in #Walthamstow. This is just off Blackhorse Rd. It could be that I have been looking in the wrong place as this was inside the property boundary. Are there others locally?

A pattern is developing. Many Iranian protesters have mysteriously died shortly after being released from custody. The implausible causes of death announced by Islamic authorities are ‘heart failure or suicide’. The Islamic regime is using death as a tool of political repression.
