If you are a heavy console gamer I recommend picking up the PS5 Pro before the price goes up on April 2! It’s a console that has gotten better as time goes on with upgrades like PSSR 2. Games like Resident Evil Requiem and Crimson Desert run much better on it and that will be even more true in the future with games like GTA6. After April 2 it’s extremely hard to recommend it cos of the crazy high price.

Crimson Desert was rumored to come to Switch 2 all the way back in May of 2025 after it was listed as a release by GameStop. As I discussed in my live stream on PC, the Switch 2 would likely get a port, rumor or not, due to the already very low scalable settings the game has.

@WZahubu @SurvivorNo0322 I'm not on PlayStation I switched to PC and they chose poorly since even the £100 cheaper Series S is more powerful, the only thing the Switch 2 has over it is DLSS upscaling.
PC is only option with hardware frame gen in games like Crimson Desert.

It really takes just 1 or 2 big games to elevate the entire lineup.
Ocarina and Star Fox start to make the smaller Yoshi, Splatoon etc spinoff games make sense as part of a more complete package.
Pokemon and 3D Mario next year. Switch 2 is going to serve for the foreseeable.
