King of frivolous Power Apps. Occasionally there will be something pithy here, but it's mostly me nerding out. Microsoft employee, opinions here are my own.

Want to learn German with me? I love the slow news from @dwnews, but I need to see text and definitions. I created wordsync.app for inline translations and follow along reading. Free and open source.

Our mission with Copilot Studio is to bring together the best AI innovations into a single low code agent platform so that you can build amazing things. Today, I get to share two new (and very different) updates: deep reasoning and agent flows. I explain both in depth in this article – check it out! linkedin.com/pulse/introduc…

One of the more exciting developments around agents in the last few months has been the Model Context Protocol (MCP). It is the AI-first version of connectors or OpenAPI specs - and can bring new tools to agents. And MCP is now supported natively in Copilot Studio, complete with support for auth, private network access, data loss protection, and more. Check it out in preview environments today!

Lately I've been obsessed with using #PowerAutomate & #MSGraph to work on #Excel files 🤖📝 Here's the top 5 things I learned 😲 1️⃣ Reading #Excel tables is faster with Graph. I read 50k rows in 7s vs. the Excel connector which took 5m. 🔥 2️⃣ Multiple rows can be written to an Excel table with #MSGraph in a single call. It took me only 1s to write 10 lines vs. 14s doing 1 call per row with the Excel connector🐇 ☁ 3️⃣ #MSGraph can do all of the things the Excel connector cannot do. Get values from an individual cell or a named range. Formatting. Create sheets and charts, etc. ♥ 4️⃣ There is a Batch Processing API which allows multiple actions to be run at once. You can get the values from 10 different named ranges at once instead of getting them sequentially. 👨‍💻 5️⃣ HTTP With Azure AD is the best way to make Graph API calls. Security is automatically based on the user account who ran the action. Using the HTTP connector is more complicated because you must make some fancy calls to get a bearer token first 🔓
