@breakfasttv Ontario teachers need more respect. They worked for over a year without a contract. Ontario schools are in a “fail to fill” staffing situation. Student & staff mental health continue to suffer. Violent incidents are on the rise. The Ford government has to act. We deserve better.

The OPP has received inflationary wage increases due to being deemed an essential service thus ensuring binding arbitration. #onted teachers do not have access to arbitration and have been victim of two illegal wage suppression bills. Why are these two groups treated differently?

@GiftedTawk When I’m at work I do 12 hours of work in 8. I order food for our snack program, make lunches for kids in need, wash fruit, organize the student recess buddy schedule, go to No Frills at break to get more food for lunches…and then I do the job I was hired for.

Ontario students deserve to be in normal and stable schools right to June.

Without saying your age, how much was a bag of chips and a can of pop at the local convenience store when you were a kid?

You just know that next year's EQAO test is going to be easier. That way, kids will score higher & Lecce can say that the bribe money for the "catch up plan" worked. And yes, for those of you who didn't know, the test changes every year, depending on what the govt wants to prove.

Teachers in Ontario have been on strike for 3 days in the last 20 years. They are not planning any job action at this time. Why does the gov't keep referring to an interruption in the school year? Is there something they know? What are they planning?

@Sflecce Normal also mean a government that respects all workers and to recognize how much time teachers volunteer.

Normal means sports, clubs, art and music from September to June. Our kids deserve it. #BackToSchool
