A note to my former colleagues in the media booking Neil deGrasse Tyson this week: He is the loudest, most high-profile dismisser of people who report alien encounters. He has spent years mocking them. And now he's selling a book about alien encounters. Ask him about that.

@MiddleOfMayhem So many good reasons to not release: confidential source protection, unverified at this time, ongoing investigation, etc. What I don't see is a good reason for the constant antagonism you aim at every discussion.

Jeremy Corbell's whole schtick is whining that the gov't is withholding alien evidence from the public. But Corbell's new vanity documentary shows that he himself is withholding lots of supposed alien evidence on his own computer. Seems very hypocritical.

@torchbearerstud I never look at visuals with the same admiration after learning they’re crafted by AI (or being forewarned). Some people really don’t care and you can surely sell THEM this. But know this: that is the type of audience you’d be cultivatiing. “It’s whatever.”

I was playing with AI and turned one of my drawings into a Dutch Masters style painting. Then it took about 6 hours to digitally paint the face from scratch and retouch the rest. With all the AI hate is it worth using as a cover or card?

I don’t think I’m alone in saying fun experiment is fine but if I see AI art or feel the writing is AI I won’t back. Even if a big name is attached (which I’ve seen). Companies are starting to realize the AI hate isn’t a phase and are trying to limit it on their platforms like Spotify etc.

My old buddy Steve continues work on his upcoming comic project “THUG!” He has an interesting question today. Yeah he got some good results here. And it sounds like he definitely put in some time and his own skills to bring this image to polish. But there is an undeniable stigma against Ai. Will including this image in his comic, merch, and/or campaign help? Or hurt? I’m genuinely curious what people think about this. Should he use it? Or chalk it up to a fun experiment and move on?🤔

@BryanBaugh It sounds like KS is okay with sexuality being an ingredient but it can't be the whole meal. I think you are safe.

I wonder if my art style - (which people have always called "cartoony" even though I never saw it that way) - will allow my comics full of scantily clad Female Vampires and bloody, gory, graphic violence, to slip by without getting censored.🤔

@MonkeeSage Well AARO released nothing because they said they had nothing. If anything gets released it looks bad on them like maybe they were lying.

Folks have been complaining about AARO not releasing UAP videos for years because they were allegedly "hiding stuff", but then when they get the actual videos they are like "hey what gives, these are just grainy, unidentifiable blobs not doing anything extraordinary!?"

This is outrageous.. Not a single person on my flight is masked up while we’re in the middle of a double pandemic (Covid + Hantavirus). I politely informed the flight attendant that this is a super spreader event. She just shrugged and walked away. I've already filed a formal complaint with the FAA and CDC. This is reckless and cannot stand. Masks save lives, the science is settled on that.

This is true. This is what Christianity sounds like to people hiding from the truth. When I was an atheist it sounded like total nonsense too, I couldn’t fathom why anyone would believe this. Only now do I realize I never gave it a chance and I wasn’t even trying to actually understand it.

@BryanBaugh @ScottMWest its baffling to me the route Cameron took. The Avatar films hold nothing for me either. All the stuff I like is there, it is just assembled into a story that bores me to sleep.

I will always love Cameron for The Terminator, Aliens, and Terminator 2. Heck, I was even fine with Titanic because I appreciated its realization of a fascinating historical event. But that was SUPPOSED TO BE his brief stylistic DEPARTURE just to prove he was a “serious filmmaker” and win a few awards - and then he’d immediately get back to making smartly-written, violent, Rated R sci-fi action movies, like before. Instead he poured all the years since into making… Avatar movies… which, I’m sorry to say, hold nothing for me.😞

Christopher Nolan is the most overrated director ever, with maybe the exception of James Cameron. Expect more posts like this as the tequila kicks in.

@MartyMCouey @GenomicSETI I think you were trying to maybe say the type? Circle, square, and cross are all parachutes. A parafoil is an oval or rectangle shape. A parafoil is a non symmetrical shape, like the video. Still, this video is one of the weaker ones with no data to confirm

Within a few hours the DoDs unresolved cases are being easily resolved. I noticed the parachute in this video on my first viewing, how could expert analysts miss that???
