My power just went out and all I can think about are the half-baked tea biscuits (read cookies) in the oven and the fact that I will not be able to eat them while sipping Earl Grey and reading a book.

@toribellious Having deadlines is a blessing in its own right most times, I think. It cuts out the need to agonise over details while writing, in my experience. Often, it's the need to "first draft = best draft" that sets me on a downward spiral when I have the freedom to indulge 😂

I have spent so. many. hours. writing. this. week. What’s the fuel that keeps you going?

@toribellious Following for clues, because heck if I know how I do it. When it happens, I'm in the zone for hours and days, then collapse. Then it takes me A Lot to get back on the saddle again. I gotta find some balance. But I'm so glad for you! 😊

@AFineFlame I definitely make mistakes but I do think it’s largely ingrained in me? My only idea for solving eye twitches involve potassium or never reading. 😅

@toribellious So basically it's second nature to you? Because it's the same for me and I want to be respectful in solving the cause so my eye-twitching doesn't get out of control 😅

How do I get the message across to people that I'd honestly love to help them rewrite their dangling-modifier-riddled sentences for nothing other than the satisfaction of coherence without sounding like a condescending asshole? My Asian, catholic schooled, ESL ass can't help it😭

@toribellious Inside for now, we’ll be doing siding and decks in the summer. Luckily my friend who I work for has booked us in only houses that are unoccupied for now so we can keep painting thru lockdown

@ErinTeaNTravel We are ahead of you then. Painting houses? That can be fun but definitely exhausting work. Outside or inside? Grant’s schedule has been slammed so when he’s free it’s been Bridgerton or GBB for the hour he’s awake. 😂
