Yesterday I finished reading my first ever Warhammer book. Gotrek and Felix Troll Slayer. I have a question, where da trolls? They sailed ghosts, cultists, orks, mutants, wolves, goblins but I read about no trolls even once!

@Coca_Cowboy I own them all and plan to read them all! For me only drag was Gortrek loosing his memory. Everything else I enjoyed ^^

@torineesan The giant mutated monster that they fight in Karak Eight Peaks is a troll. The series stalls towards the middle but Skavenslayer, Daemonslayer, Elfslayer, and Beast + Zombieslayer are well worth it and I cannot recommend them enough.

@moth_pirate The finale story was about wolves🤔 Second to last had a big mutant but I am not sure it was troll. I was corrected that there was a troll in the dwarven ruins however ^^

@torineesan Nice one. I've been trying to get them some time ago in polish but couldn't find any book shop, physical nor online that still had any prints. I could've buy them in english but my dad doesn't know it and that kind of books are something right up his valley. Oh well,maybe someday

@Aru12181918 I think I have both the original series of 10 books plus additional 10. In total I have 20 of them. It was a second hand purchase and I am very happy that Santa (my parents) got them for me ^^

@torineesan Great book series that sadly ends in the middle and gets some weird continuation/s that aren't connected to what the story was before. Alas. Read the older books. They are a treat.

@torineesan Read Dan Abnett's books. Guy's the single greatest author they have. Pretty much all his books are solid gold. I recommend the Eisenhorn books and the Gaunt's Ghosts books.

@Tombworld8 I understood that he wants a glorious death, not necessarily from a Troll. 🤔

@torineesan Well, in that story Gotrek wants to die fighting a troll. But if he did that, there wouldn't be any more novels.

@torineesan You think that's confusing? Read Eisenhorn: Xenos. Excellent book set in Warhammer 40,000 but you'll be asking similar questions when it's over. Hint: "Xenos" means aliens, as in he hunts aliens.
