For season 9 they offered me like $3k to draw and animate the sidekicks for the princess challenge, and I would’ve been thrilled to do it. I couldn’t because I had a noncompete with BuzzFeed. But you’re telling me a show that broke viewership records this season can’t afford to throw a few grand to a real artist to do portraits of the queens?

Imagine building a respectable career for nearly 50 years across film, television, and stage, becoming a universally beloved character actor in the process, only to completely torch it in your 70s in service of one last big paycheck. You could have died a legend, man.
