@erikawybourn Unofficial results include mail-in ballots. A tied-vote would be the only circumstance where the City Clerk would be required to hold a recount, however a few scenarios may warrant a recount. Learn more toronto.ca/wp-content/upl…

Two questions for @torontovotes : Is there a margin of votes below which there’s an automatic recount? When are mail-in ballots counted? Asking for #ward5 and #Ward11

Candidates can add contact info & links for public display. If there is no contact info/campaign website on our webpages, it means that this candidate did not submit any info.

@TheoMladenova @cityoftoronto Hi Theodora - yes , you are correct. This is a long-term care home that is a polling location only for residents. Please use MyVote to find your voting location or call 311 for assistance.

@cityoftoronto @torontovotes Nope - that's a nursing home, where voting was for residents only. I went around 5PM and got turned away; I was also told the officials had left anyway. I got turned away from the voting polls at the nearest public school as well!

Turns out if you're in ward 4, subdivision 61 in @cityoftoronto there's nowhere for you to vote! @torontovotes managed to disenfranchise me while also wasting my time. What a joy it is to live in a "democracy"!

@murphy1387 Hi Michael - voting location boundaries are drawn to be as balanced as possible population wise. Sometimes this means you will not be voting at the voting location closest to yours.

@torontovotes Im just wondering why I cant vote at my sons school(which is a voting station) and my voting card is telling me to vote at a different elementary school that is farther away from my home?

@torontovotes went to the poll this evening to vote and the registrar at the poll told me I already voted today and my name was crossed out. Weird when your polls open at 10am and I was at work from 9 till 5pm. Accountability? #TOpoli #toronto #ward14

@larisa_ferguson The number of voting locations is determined using a number of factors, including population data, geographical considerations and accessibility. School boards determine their own ward boundaries which often aren't the same as City ward boundaries.

@torontovotes my polling station is 1.2 km away at a school that my kids can't even go to school at. But my kids school is 700m away and is a polling station but not my polling station and they said I can't vote there. Why not just use TDSB boundaries for voting boundaries?

@manovcn @ElectionsCan_E You don't need a Voter Info Card to vote! If you’re on the voters’ list, print/download your card @ toronto.ca/myvote & show it w/ ID or add your name at the voting place on Oct 24
