@haizoopRBLX great work again! anchor points are so important, it also caught me off guard early on. and yeah, tweening scale on offset-based UI is a classic trap, switching to scale-based sizing fixes it completely. looking forward to your next post tomorrow!🙏

Day 83 of learning how to script on Roblox! 👀✨ Today I wanted to try out blurred backgrounds and continue testing out tweens! I thought the best way to do this would be replicating a Labubu unboxing 🤪 I did have help with this one, didn't do it completely on my own. I would say I did 90% of this script, just stating this disclaimer before the reaction bait gremlins come for my throat... overall though I had a lot of fun with this one!! One problem I did encounter that I hope helps someone out who's also starting is make sure to use anchor points!! Also, when I tried to use the tween service when I hover, it was extremely glitchy and that's because I was trying to script the animation with scale while my UI was on offset 😅

Day 82 of learning how to script on Roblox! 👀✨ Kept it super simple tonight since I'm currently dealing with food poisoning (DON'T EAT FOOD FROM TIKTOK) 🥲 So here's a script I came up with that I made completely on my own without needing to look back on anything! Of course I would not use this method for an official game and I would use server storage/destroy to reduce any possible lag. However, to keep is simple enough for me to actually challenge my full memory I used if/elseif statements for this one and lots of transparency prompts! I'm really hoping tomorrow I don't feel that bad so I can continue learning some new things I haven't gotten to yet with BrawlDevs advanced scripting series such as drag detection and raycasting 🥹

Built a locker system for my horror game. 🚪 Each locker is its own OOP class — occupant tracking, door animation, camera rotation, breathing sounds, prompt management. When the moment comes, it could be the only thing standing between you and what's hunting you. #RobloxDev #Roblox #GameDev #Luau

@haizoopRBLX hey nice work! small tip: you can use ContextActionService instead of UserInputService for this (it also handles mobile buttons automatically if you want) and keeps things cleaner. here's an example:

Day 81 of learning how to script on Roblox! 👀✨ Unfortunately did not have a lot of time today, but I didn't wanna waste today not being able to learn and script something! So I created a very simple speed script. This one I actually did completely on my own! Tonight was actually one of the first nights where I didn't need to look back on a tutorial or ask for help and I am EXTREMELY proud of myself for that !! 🥳 Although the script is small, this was actually a huge milestone for me!! 🏅

Built the task system for my horror game. 🧹 Sweep, wipe, restock, brush... — each task tracked individually per player. Modular, data-driven: adding a new task means touching one table, not rewriting logic. Took a while. Worth it. #RobloxDev #Roblox #GameDev #Luau
