Breaking News Florida Hulk showed up for the Sweet 16 even though Florida was bounced. Dedication to ball or too much faith in his team and non refundable travel plans?

It’s actually unbelievable. I’ve seen this in my own life with friends, and even with my younger brothers’ friends. Especially the normal, generally non-political types, who voted for Trump in 2024 out of excitement for his coalition. I can’t think of a single one who hasn’t expressed that he betrayed them on the Epstein files and Iran. A historic coalition squandered.

Gen Z CPAC attendee says Republicans "are going to get destroyed in the midterms": "A lot of people I knew who just voted for Trump because they thought it was cool, are just now being like, 'I can't stand the guy.'"

UNC is open. There's a good chance Kansas opens up, too. I'm not worried about "the next time" rn. I'm worried about this time. Dusty May will be a very attractive candidate for both of those openings and Michigan is very poor at being proactive rather than reactive w/ contracts.
Steve Selter@sjsopm

@sbell021 At some point you can't just keep doing new contracts every time another job opens. There's actually an easy way to solve this. Eliminate the buyout in the contract and guarantee the entire contract but require permission has to be given for any other school to just talk with him

@torreydd97 @sjsopm @sbell021 I’m talking over all brand. The block M, the jumpman logo. In modern NIL, there’s few programs that spend like UM or have the ability to spend like UM. Sure Kansas has the history, but that’s the only advantage they have. Kansas is also a 1 sport school w/ way more pressure.

@sjsopm @sbell021 Kansas is a bigger brand, you are delusional. You haven’t won a title since the stone age

@torreydd97 @sbell021 Check out Michigan's history in the 60's, 70, 80's, 90''s and from 2010 thru now. Sorry Kansas doesn't actually match it. The media fawns all over Rock Chalk Jayhawk but the actual on the court history doesn't hold up.

@torreydd97 @sjsopm @sbell021 Michigan is a bigger brand than Kansas PERIOD. The M is known world wide and they can spend w/ anyone in college sports. What advantage does Kansas currently have over Michigan?

@torreydd97 @sbell021 Just check the TV ratings, it isn't close. Almost all of the actual great history Kansas has is really under Roy Williams and Bill Self and most of everything Self accomplished was bought with Nike's money. That went away after the FBI investigation and it's not the same since.
