Have a look at this concept art of the warrior king Leonidas. He was the leader of Sparta from 489 – 480 BC where he met his end fighting the Persian army of Xerxes. His army of Spartans, Helots, Thebans and Thespians managed to kill 10,000 Persian soldiers before their defeat.
